SmallMenu Plus and Magic Button....
Anyone else using SmallMenu Plus (Tillanosoft) and Magic Button (TranCreative) together?
I seem to have a problem with incompatability betwwen the two when using the settings menu. Please let me know if anyone else uses these two together so I can discuss.
thanks

rabdo - I can't say I use both applications, therefore I can't truely discuss my experiences with both. I'm a SmallMenuPlus user and was curoius.....what functionality do you get with using both applications. I use SMP as my task manager, and I was not sure what Magic Button adds or compliments to SMP??

Magic Button adds the ability to make closing an application really close and not minimise

Small Menu should add that to their application. I would probably buy a copy if they did.

At first, I thought I like that, but after accidentally closing my apps a few times while trying to hit ok button, I turned it off.
I'm a SmallMenuPlus + MagicButton user, and I use SMP to close apps, but use MB to switch apps. I also prefer MB's battery display better than SMP's because of more detailed diplay of how much battery is left.
It seems a wining combo; boths are small and nimble.

SmallMenu Plus has just been updated to fix the incompatability issue with MagicButton. However, whilst waiting for the fix I have switched to using Wisbar Advance 2 - the newest version is really fast and seems to do everything that SmallMenu Plus and MagicButton do. I did really like the Battery meter in Magic Button but I found this could be achieved in WA2 so I now have WA2 with a Battery meter that looks like the one in Magic Button.

I agree WA2 looks like a winner to me, still on the evaluation period. You have to go into the forums and download the newest beta.

I tried WA2, and found it tempting. But, as a RealVGA user, tiny menu font size associated with occational incorrectly picking item below or above in that menu turned me off. Also, the task list's [x] icon seemed like didn't do anything (I thought that would let me close running apps). I was also following up with all those bugs in WA2's forum, and got scared of possible problems.

what about trying "cLaunch" ?
Majic button is great!
Using "OzVGA" helps you make settings for both VGA & SEVGA...

I loaded 2.0.1.17 and have had no problems.
Well tapping in the scroll bar area does not do a pagedown? But that is minor. I will leave the author a message today.
I haven't had any problems with menu taps being wrong?

It is nice and fast and free but I miss having the icons showing what is running. Does anyone know if it works with Magic Button?

Yep, it does. But what's stopping you from trying it out for yourself? It's free! :D

Caution, I use my Axim for development and I am protective of the software I load. Maybe I'll try it later when I have time to spare.
The English instructions are thin. I didn't check for built in help?
