is there any way to resize/optimise a pdf for the ppc

have a book that is 200MB - page size 10*8in (properties) i was wndering if it was possible to resize this pdf so it would be smaller so i dont waste so much space....

When you use the 'make accessible' plug-in to optimize a PDF for PocketPC viewing, the file becomes larger, not smaller. So, yes, you can optimize a PDF for viewing on your device, but it will be a larger file, due to the additional information in the file.

sooo... there is no prog that will shrink a pdf to half the size ?

You might find the e-book reading experience could be *significantly* improved if you consider other ebook formats.

Have a look at PDF2HTML. There is a commercial version but also a freeware which can be found here http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdftohtml/ if you dont mind bothering with console applications.

HTML files usually can be imported in most eBook readers.
