Hello all,
I can't back up my 300mhz Axim, to a 64mb CF or a 128mb SD card.

Briefly, here's whats going on. When I use the included back up program and select either
the CF or SD card in the drop down menu, I get an error message that reads:

"Caution: There is not enough space to back up data. Insert another card."

Both cards are practically empty. I am selecting "Back up all data". I have not installed that many
new apps. The backup program reports: "Required: 3780829.48kb" I did back up to a card last
week successfully after installing only a few apps. I tried to back up again yesterday after installing
a few more apps and then began getting the error message. I am experienced at Pocket PC from
using an HP 520, but THIS has baffled me. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried backing up only the PIM data?

How about backing up to internal memory, then moving that .dbk file to your PC?

Yes,
I have tried to back up only PIM data and also to back up to the internal
memory, but I get the same error message.

I have backed up using Activesync, but I think the problem was already there,
so I would get it back in the restore process.

I guess its hard reset time..........DRAG!

Thanks for the reply Rhyno.
