Awesome. I love the GS family of software (GSPlayer, GSFinder), so I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Hi there. Can you tell me, is there a trick to downloading this freeware application?
Everytime I try to install GSPocket Magic, I get an error message on my X50v saying that it does not recognize the file and that I need to download the program to access the file.
The GSPocketMagic site is in Japanese so I'm not sure if I am clicking on the right link for the download. I am clicking on the very top right hand corner link that says: ++ version 1.32.17 Copyright (C)2002-2005, UK-taniyama.

I tried it and like the menu. In true vga mode, the windows-style cascading menu is readable, better than the ppc built-in menu.

The downloaded file has lzh compression. You can use winrar to extract the files. Next you need to copy one of the .cab files to your ppc and click to install. I used GSPMagic.xscaleE.CAB for my X50v.

I just downloaded this software and it's great. The only problem is that I now have 3 programs that take over the close app. function (spb pocket plus, magic button, gspocket plus). I like the dashboard stuff spb pocket has, and I like the tasks in the title bar magic button gives you, but I think I just have too many programs running that eat up memory.

Thanks for the assistance. I've been trying to download it for a few weeks and could never figure it out - the lzh compression and having to use winrar threw me off.

I am with you here. I have spb pocket plus and wisbar already and like both. Now I do like this GSPocketMagic start menu best of all. I am trying to figure out how I can keep both wisbar and GSPM work together.

What do you want to keep on using from both programs? I mean you can switch off the cascade menu in WA

I used GSPMagic.xscaleE.CAB for my X50v. It should work for both out of box vga and "true" vga.

ocharlies - not sure if I'm missing something here regarding downloading this cab file to my X50v.
I used winrar to extract the files and then copied the GSPMagic.xscaleE.CAB to my X50v.
When I click on it to instal, an error message on my Axim says that the file is not associated with any known program. Is there another file I need to instal in order to read the GSPMagic cab file?
I generally don't have problems loading applications and have been an Axim user for about a year now but for some reason this instal has me stumped.
If you have any tricks or tips it would be greatly appreciated
