Question for all you SPB Weather users

I just downloaded pocket plus. While looking at it I thought that SPB weather looked interesting. For those of you using it, I have a couple of questions. I do a lot of camping/fishing and am looking for a program that will give me a forcast for remote areas. Do you know where they get the forecasts (ex. National weather service, weather.com, etc). With this program can you search for forecasts by zip code and/or city? Will this give me forecasts for small towns or is it primarily for large metro areas? Also since I obviously won't have access to a connection, can I download an extended forecast before I leave and keep it with me or do I need to re-establish a connection just to see this information? Any other suggestions on a weather program or GPS unit that might meet my needs would be greatly appreciated.

SPB Weather

SPB weather uses zip codes and/or city names. You can download an extended forecast because it uses weather.com and a couple of others. If you use weather.com it can find small cities and towns.
I personally use weather panel. I tried SPB weather but it would not update when I sync. I had to have a wifi connection to update. With weather panel it updates both ways and it has a more extended forecast.
As far as GPS, I am no help.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

Weather Panel looks pretty cool. Does anyone have an opinion of how PocketWeather compares to these 2 (SPB Weather or Weather Panel)? Are they pretty much the same? Which of these 3 looks the best on the Today Screen?

Another question....anyone in the UK use this? Are there "feeds" for the UK weather or is it mostly a USA thing?

PocketWeather certainly works in the UK - that is where I live (West Sussex).

I'll give it a go then...of course, it just says "snow everywhere" right now I guess.

If only the snow would settle down here... see

You can also add downloadable web images and/or webcams under maps in PocketWeather.
