cab installer + mp3 recorder

i am looking for a program that can let me choose where to install cab files and some sort of replacement for the notes recorder so that it can record notes as mp3 files. any suggestions? freeware would be good, but i won't mind paying for quality programs as well

Check out the Cabinstl software for installing those CAB files. It is freeware.

NoteM is freeware and can record in MP3.
