Can you store Outlooks emails in BIS or SD card?

I've searched the forums and haven't found an answer to this question yet:

Can I store my email from Pocket Outlooks in BIS or on an SD card? This would probably require some kind of registry hack. Alternatively, can you set Pocket Outlook to only download the last 7 days of email and cycle the old ones out and bring in the new every day? (I saw a setting that looked like it would do this and I told it to only look at the last 3 days, but it didn't seem to work.)

I have a huge Inbox and when I set up my email in Pocket Outlook yesterday, I went from having ~24MB of free Program RAM and ~7.5MB of free Storage RAM to about 4MB of free Program RAM and less than 1MB of Storage RAM. Yikes! Needless to say, it brought my Axim to a screeching halt! I removed the account and everything was back to normal. I saved all of my attachments to BIS, so that wasn't the problem--it's just the email. I set it to download the whole message because I don't want to have to sort through headers and mark specific email to download.

Maybe I'm just out of luck and won't be able to use a large Inbox with my PPC. I'd sure love to get this working, though...

Unfortunately, no, you cannot store messages in BIS or SD card. You can, however, store email attachments in either BIS or SD.

Hey, thanks for the quick reply.

It's a bummer that they haven't added this functionality, especially when the X50v is a little short on memory (I thought 64MB would last forever, but you really do have to manage it carefully...).

the setting you are talking about is in active Sync. You can set the number of days, number of lines, etc.
