Pocket Music crash

Hey all.

Wondering if anyone has the full Pocket Music bundle installed.

All of a sudden, I started having a weird problem: I open Pocket Music just fine. Able to go into settings, options, all the screens... Play List loads just fine, can scroll down and up, nothing unusual... However as I hit "play", it crashes to the desktop after 2-3 seconds of playing.

These are MP3s that have always been plyaing just fine for the last few months. They are located on the CF card. Beta Player plays them just fine.

Very weird and I cant pinpoint what is causing it. I tried changing file associations. No luck.

Have you installed anything new lately? Sometimes other programs can affect the way things work, even if you wouldn't think it might affect anything.

I've got the same issue. I bought the full bundle and I even e-mailed PocketMind support a couple of times. No help. :(

After putting on AO2 it started working again for about a week and then it started locking up again.

I'm very disappointed but I have uninstalled it and I am just using Media Player right now until I find something better.

What Today plug-ins are you running? I had the same issue until I uninstalled PocketBreeze or Pocket Plus ... I can't remember which, but it was conflicting somehow.

I run PocketMusic 3.2 with SPB PocketPlus without any problems. Something must be conflicting with the player but what that is I don't know. Could it really be PocketBreeze?

I had a similar problem when I used the trial version of Pocket Music. It worked for a little while then quit. So I uninstalled it I am now using iMusic. :approve:

I tried to contact Pocket Mind, but no help here either.

can you move a music file from your cf card to an sd card or main memory and play it from there?

I and a friend of mine also have the same 2-3second problem with Pocketmusic on each of our PDAs (mine is an X30h and his is an X3). I wonder what the problem is? I can usually fix it by reinstalling the program though.

PamAxim, thanks for your post on iMusic. I went and downloaded a trial and liked it enough to buy it. So far it seems very good and it works! Which is a big plus.

I'm going to use it for a few days and then post more on it but right now iMusic seems the way to go. I also love their English translated web site. Fun to read. hehe
