Pocket Excel & Word

How do you sync with Word and Excel? I do not see anything about it in the manual. Can it be done with a 50? Thanks. I have activesync. CKH

You can define a folder to sync and put your Word and/or Excel files in it...

While your handheld is connected, go to My Computer > Mobile Device and you can browse your files and transfer back and forth between your Pocket PC and your computer.

Be careful though, Pocket Word and Excel is very limited in functions, and you will lose a lot of your formating going from PC to PPC back to PC. Personally I view pocket word more like pocket notepad. If you want to preserve full formating I really recommend Textmaker, and Planmaker and turning off activesync conversion.

thats one thing is miss about my clie. documents to go for palm is still the best pda app for converting office docs...it puts pocket word, excel & powerpoint to shame. of course it doesn't take much effort to do better than microsoft's version of pocket powerpoint, considering that its nonexistent

I'm with gtarent. While not cheap, planmaker and textmaker are terrific programs. Worth every penny.
