I want to stream video directly from an internet page. The movie is in the wmv format. Can I stream it without having to save it to the Axim? I know that Beta player can do this, but it wont work with WMV....Any suggestions?

No, It asks you where to save the video to... And then starts saving the video to the memory

Don't Panic!

Well that's not a streaming file then. Does the filename end in .asx? You would see a small file being transfered before it plays just like if you were listening to a streaming radio station on your aAx, but that's not the whole video or radio show being transfered.

no, it ends in .wmv. It has a little bar under the search bar, that shows the "Stream" the actual download.

wmv aren't "streaming". asx are.

Don't Panic!

How does BetaPlayer do it. If you mean copying the url of the file into the program, you can do that with WMP.

When you get to your player skin tap on menu then, open url, fill in the url, and click on ok. Let us know if it works.

That will work, but it takes to long, and is a bit to much effort. I tried resco, and that worked fine....However it is only a trial version...I deleted it, when i really need the resco file explorer, ill buy it...Thanks for the help anyway.
