Terminal Services

Can't connect to terminal services using IP address, but can connect using computer name. I get a message saying I need to set-up a proxy server. But I can ping the IP address.

any ideas?

Are you trying to connect to the ip while on the same network? Are you using the default Remote Desktop port on your host machine/router?

yes I am on the same network, but it won't let me connect using the ip address. Not sure about the ports, never touched a thing.
