Textmaker and PIE are all ready VGA aware. You will not see changed in these programs because of it. You will not see any differences in Pocket Word are Excell either.

Is there are tweek that will make these apps run fullscreen. These
bars at the top and bottom take up a lot of the real estate !

how about using this program with POCKETMAP NAVIGATOR?

So, if my understanding is correct, there is no way to change the VGA mode of a program (e.g. PIE) using one of these resolution-changer apps without rebooting the OS into real-VGA mode (e.g. oz-vga)?

I'm not sure about TextMaker, but FTXBrowser is a nice little Freeware that can run full screen.. It also opens seperate individual windows for each page, and it is easy to jump between pages, or close which ones you choose ! :)
