Ok found one!

Freeware...

http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconVa...upertino/2039/

'Force Hi-resolution tool V1.50'

You'll also want 'gsGetFile.dll' from the same page.

Unzip both files to the windows directory. After a reset, the program icon will be on settings/System tab.

Ok, works as expected.

The other is slightly better in that you get an icon for the program in control panel, and the developer is still actively updating his programs.

Good find though!

Thank you lukas44. I had no idea this existed. The fact that no reset is needed is awesome!! I love it for Acrobat Reader.

Which one gives you an icon? It's not clear.

Excellent info on this thread. Finally Adobe Reader becomes useful so PDFs can be easily used with Mac/PPC combination.
Thanks all.

I just tried both apps separately (forcehires and progresoswap) with IE and see absolutely no difference. OzVGA definitely works though. Maybe these resolution switchers only work with certain applications?
