Ok, so when I got the Axim (400) I brought it to work with the cradle and all and was just able to start browsing the internet with the included IE, while it was connected through the cradle.

Now, I have no network card or anything, just an out of the box product with a CF card. I realize that since I'm at work and I'm connected to the internet via a T1 you're asking why I want to browse with the PDA. For the novelty of it of course! And cause I'm a developer and should test on with all browsers.

Anyway, my IE doesn't seem to be connecting anymore and the only thing that I can think of is that I did a hard delete. would this have killed something? How do I and what should I look for to get it connected again to start using the PDAs IE.

Yes, activesync is installed and working properly.

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

This may sound odd, but go into Start->Settings->Connections->Connections and try different combinations of Home and Work settings. I had to set both to "Work" before I could reliably connect over USB both at home and a work.

Good advice. And don't forget to check the "This network connects to the internet" box.

Thanks for your responses guys. After you confirmed that it should just be connecting and all of my connection setting were how you recomended, it still wasn't working. Funny thing was, when try to browse (entering in an address) it wouldn't pop up with a "not connected error" or anything like that. The spinning globe would just start and stop as if it thought it was already at the page I wanted to browse.

The fix: I just performed another "HARD RESET", double checked my settings (per your recomendations) and now All is good again. I can browse without a problem.

Thanks for your help guys.

when all else fails, back-up and do a hard reset. sucks but took care of my problem.
