I tried XCPUScalar 2.85 on my X50v. Each time it runs, it freezes up the entire ppc maybe 10-20 seconds later requiring a soft reset.

Is this a known bug, or do I have a possible conflict?

Your processor MUST be set to maximum speed before starting XCPUSCALAR. Go to SETTINGS>POWER>PROCESSOR, set it to 624mhz, and then start XCPUSCALAR, and all should be well.
