Tell us how it compares with the older version. I simply could not get it running properly on my X50v. It would be gret to load just one application and get MSN and AIM.

I really don't see much of a UI difference, and I noticed one quirk thus far. When I log in, it shows that it failed to login to Yahoo!, but when it goes the the contact's list, I am logged into Yahoo!
1. it remembers the IM that u logged on the last time u used it. for me i was connected to icq,msn and yahoo. when i restarted, the start up screen shows these 3 IM selected.
2. interface in 'preference' changed
3. in true vga mode, when chatting, half the screen is allocated to typing msg, and half to the conversation.....hard to explain properly, u will get what i mean when u load it up with ozvga
One missing ingredient from the pocket MSN is that Agile Messenger has no memorized text. That would make it much more useful, since the AIM for PPC also does not have it. At least I do have both Rescoe Keyboard and TapText which do provide memorized phrases.
I have loaded Agile Messenger and find this version does run ok on my X50V. I ried it out on a few chats both in AIM and MSN and it worked beautifully. The emoticons seem to show up as graphics instead of just text.

There were a ton of glitches that annoyed the heck out of me. Like having to be shut down a certain way or it gets cranky and doesn't want to connect. Or like how it doesn't save your preferences when you hit save. Or like when you hit the "Enter" button and it doesn't "enter" and send the text to the person you're chatting with. You have to manually tap the screen everytime you want to send a line no matter what you have set in preferences...
I didn't have much time to test out the new version but I can tell you that the look of it hasn't changed much if at all. And the 2 lines I sent, I was able to hit "Enter" and have it send the text.
I also noticed the issue with Yahoo that Wooch stated. There are still some bugs to be worked out. I'm sure I'll find more as I use the program.

If it is a new version (3) then why does it say 2004 when you click on "About" ? Perhaps the PPC version is still the old one with just a slight tweak, but it seems not to be a 2005 tweak!

the best thing so far in this new version is that u can close with the X button and what u put down in preference actually stays there. the 'enter' issue that falln mentioned is fixed
