Backup for upgrade?

I have just ordered a 2003 upgrade disc for my handheld, and am wondering...is there a way- or a program- to backup my files and databases, at least- so that they will install on the new os. Hope that made sense! Will something like sprite let me do this? I hate to lose all my info- calendar, contacts, everything!! Thanks for the help!! ~Anne

Sprite Backup theoretically can restore to an updated ROM.
There have been a lot of problems though.
The best way to do it is reinstall your programs after the update, unfortunately.
As long as you sync before you do it, you won't lose your Outlook info(calendar, tasks, contacts.)

you can specificly do a PIM backup @ synching times.

look at programs/data backup then do a PIM only back up.

as far your database maybe your vendor has a way to back their data.
