Question about iSilo and beaming

I recently switched from a Sony Palm-OS pda to the Axim x30 Mid. Now, my favorite reader for palm was iSilo and naturally wish to use that in the Axim.

I have some books saved up onto my palm based pda and would like to beam it over to the Axim. Is that possible considering they are both using the same isilo convertor?

In addition, I cant seem to beam anything from my palm based pda to my PPC. I know its different OS and technically shouldnt be able to transfer files like this. But I've asked previously and ppl told me you can still beam stuff from the palm based pda to the ppc (i.e. contacts and stuff).

Thanks.

I don't think the beaming itself actually works, but the transfer of the contacts does work if you'll use an intermediary of the microsoft outlook. You'll sync the palm OS with the outlook and then you'll synch the ppc with the outlook.

There is a program called peacemaker which does similar things, I believe as well.

In regards to the transfer of the databases, I don't think the transfer works, but I'm sure you can just reinstall the *.pdb of the isilo into the PPC.

I too have a lot of medical *.pdbs for isilo and now trying to organize them is just a whole bunch o' fun!!! :(
