Hmm this is interesting. Are you trying this during the first run of Minimo? Upon putting Minimo on your device it has to register files, hence why the first run is slow. Are you experiencing this problem during the first run or during every run?

I will submit a bug in bugzilla about it.

I'm guessing this is because in WM2003 (and later) there seems to be a limit to how many and how large of dlls can be loaded at the same time. And today screen plugins are dlls.

I don't have a link to point you to on this, but I know that there was a port of Maxima (A computer algebra system) that used 2 very large dlls, and it worked fine on PPC2002 and did not work at all on WM2003.

Maybe make a statically linked version and see if thats any better?

Jon

Hi,

in http://www.meer.net/~dougt/minimo_ce/ what is the difference between:

MinimoCE_0.004.zip

and

MinimoCE_emulator_0.004.zip

(apart from their size)?

TIA!

Please be sure to read the whole thread, the question has been asked before :-)

.004 is meant for a PDA/smartphone while the other version you asked about is meant for users who are emulatining CE for testing purposes (ie, me because I dont have a PDA right now since the x3i died). More info about emulating CE can be found here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/min...o_emulator.html

Feel free to submit feedback!
