WA and SE_VGA dlls not listed in MemMaid

I installed Wisbar Advance and se_VGA yesterday, bugt neither shows any dlls listed in the Dll Optimizer screen.

Does anyone know why??

TIA

Maybe because they simply don't install any DLLs :)

OK I did some playing around., I had installed se_vga in BIS. I uninstalled it, installed it to memeory, and THEN the dlls were listed in Memmaid. At that polint I moved them in Memmaid, them moved the program folder back into BIS. No problems.

No change when I used the same process for WA2

OK, that explains it,
When you install to the BIS, the program copies its DLLs to BIS (and that's why MemMaid doesn't see the DLLs in the main memory).

Uh, not exactly-- the se_vga dlls are installed in the /windows directory regardless of where you install the app.

Oh well, I am glad I found a way to move them- I saved lots of space(about 1.5 MB). BTW- if you are intertested, there are some dlls se_vga installs that cannot be moved according to this thread

Why do you want to move .dll files for WA? WA can be installed anywhere you want it to. Just tell it to do so upon install. Also, all .dll files and .exe files for WA need to be together.

Thanks-- I did not know they have to be together- As for why, well I am always looking for ways to save memory, and I once I heard about moving dlls I have been trying to move any dll I can!
