Not that I've seen !

(Which means I'm sure "No" but don't want to look like an idiot if I'm wrong ! ). You can customise its colors.

.....but I do know that there is more work being done on this section for the next release so who knows.
Have you been over to the SBSH forums ? The developer is very accommodating to all suggestions and might incorporate your requests....

I was hoping that feature would be added. It sure would be nice to look at the pop up calendar and see if you have an event for any given day then just tap on that date and see what that event is.

Amit has indicated that he is rewriting this part of the program, and I think he intends to add this feature, but I imagine that it is a few releases away. Check in at the PocketBreeze forum once a week to see what is going on with the betas.
