This one is not the 500 error. Something else is at work this time.
After I get the error aobut being unable to check fo new version, nothing else happens at all, except that I continue to get the same error occasionally every time the application checks for it.

When I launch Weblink, it shows check for new version failed but after that the channels start to download and everything woks as usual as of 1:55 pm PST Friday
normaly if it fails to version check, that's the end of the process. I'm suprised yours failed but still worked anyhow.
Is it Zap2it where we are supposed to keep doing the "survey" form that allows the process to complete?
When I go tho Zap2it and login, it shows my "subscription" expired on Sept 29.
My zap2it subscription is active. I used to be able to download listings with weblink after pressing ok on the error msg. but not anymore.. now it just halts there.. sad indeed..

This is a Thumbs Up's problem, not Zap2it's. WebLink is written in a way that it always pings the Thumbs Up website for new SW version, prior to connecting to Zap2it. It doesn't give you the option of turning off this "feature". That way, if they go down (even just their website), you go down with them.
fantastic, I've been looking for an tvxml viewer for a couple of days, and always wehn looking for something it turns up in aximsite hahahaha...
for those in australia if you want to view tv free to air and foxtel/austar, install this application, download and install phpxmltv grabber_au, then get ptvl to import xml data - works great.
This no longer works. :( On the PTVL site, most links don't work (give a PHP text-file instead of running the script), and the app fails because it's not finding the server. No response to my e-mail to the site addess, either.
Are there any other alternatives to this program? Other PPC apps that can do this?
