Hmm Would this work?

I'm condering trying Total Commander because it sounds like it can help me w/the following problem....Feel free to tell me if I'm mistaken! Any ideas welcome!:

When I d/l games, those games don't end up in my "Games" folder under my start menu....they end up in another "Games" folder under "Programs." I've read at this site that LOTS of games are set to d/l like that. Argh! So aggravating! I want my games all in one place, and that one place is preferably as a folder in the Start Menu!

Sooooo, I always have to do this:
1) Go into "File Explorer"--->"Program" files--->"Games" and cut the game I want.

2) Thennnnn, I have to go through it all again to "paste" the game where I want it (the "Games" folder in my Start Menu): Using "File Explorer" I open "Windows"--->"Start Menu"--->"Games" and then paste the game I just cut from "Program files." I hate this, 'cause it's hella time consuming (I have a lot of games)and it has to be done one game at a time!

3) I want to be rid of this process because I seem to lose my place from going back and forth to screens that, by design of "File Explorer", need to close in order for another screen to be viewed.

Sooooo.....will Total Commander help with this? Or would software that allows for cascading windows, that allows for drag & drop between windows (like on a PC) work better? Does such a thing exist?

Hmmm...I hope y'all can help on this one. It's drivin' me freakin' crazy! :rolling:

Cool

Yes, you could very well get this accomplished by using Total Commander... simply search for the .lnk files in your games folder using Total Commander and you could use either Ctrl+A or use the toolbar icon to select all files and then you could cut and past them to a single folder!

I hope this helps!
