I have been using messenger since getting the Axim but now the app doesn't fire up at all. I thought I would re-install from the CD but I read somewhere that it's embedded in the ROM - any ideas anyone

treat me as a novice, what do I need to do to reflash the ROM?

Have you tried a soft reset first? If that doesn't work, try a hard reset (soft reset while holding down power button), but this will delete everything in Main Memory. You can do a backup first, but if you restore, you may be restoring back the problem.

I finally got to downloading agile - works fine (so I;ve given up on messenger) downloaded skype too
