Exclamation handy launcher slow response?

Device setup.
Imate JAM WM2003SE PE
Handy Launcher - Main Mem - mapped to record button - startup disabled - Tray Icon disabled
Handy Menu - Main Mem - shortcut in Extra Launcher - startup disabled - Tray Icon disabled
Handy Switcher - Main Mem - shortcut in Handy Launcher - startup disabled - Tray Icon disabled

Issue/Problem:
When I use HandyLauncher right after soft-reset it seems slow to respond and I have to do the action again (happens with HandyMenu and HandySwitcher and a screen off utility) however it works ok with my other shortcuts. Also the shortcuts I use are in \Windows\StartMenu\XXXXX\ where XXXXX is the folder with the shortcut i.e. 'Utilities' or 'Pocket Outlook'

Other than that I have no problems with your applications.
I do have two requests for your applications 1 is for HandyLauncher hopefully you add a utility to save our settings (so we don't have to configure again next time) and 1 is for HandyMenu can you add a ScreenOff Command with it? I think it is lacking this feature. Backups for Switcher/Menu are not really needed.

Hi,
This is normal, and here is why.
When you run any of our programs, the program checks for any previously running copy, if there is one running, the new copy signals the older copy to open the menu and then exits right away (the new copy).
If you run the program and it doesn't find a previous running copy it then stays in memory (and install its icons, if you set it up to do so) and then waits for any signals to open the menu.

Now, because you don't use the "start with the system" option, the first time you press your hardware button, the program runs and stays i memory.
Any subsequent button press will cause a signal to be sent to the running copy to open its menu.

To get around this, turn the "start with the system" option ON.

Oh, one more thing about the "screen off" function.

Keep an eye on this forum, cause we're going to add several features to HandyMenu soon, and we're going to release them here before anywhere else.
"Screen Off" is one of the new added features :)
