activeSynch errors with PI & AF

I recently installed a trial version of PI. The software worked fine on my AX. However, upon synching later on that night, I began to get errors.

First:

all the catagories showed as synched but the activesynch wheel kept spinning for some time. Then I got an error which said that my device had unresolved conflicts when checking for out of date contacts and appointments. Several soft resets did no good. A hard backup complete with duplicate appointment problems, did not fix it either. Finally, I removed the PI and the problem went away.

I had the exact same experience the next day when installing AF.
My experience with the PI was on my home computer (running XP). The second time with AF, I was on my computer at work.

I really want to use one of these software programs but now I'm starting to wonder if its worth it.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks!

As a proud PI owner, I would STRONGLY recommend that you go to their website (http://www.pocketinformant.com/) and ask - I guarantee that you'll get a satisfactory response to your problem.

I doubt it is uncommon, and I'm sure there are solutions for it.

And, although I'm not a big AF fan, I can assure you their support will likely be as effective, you might as well get them both working so you can honestly evaluate either program.

HTH!
