All the major IM programs on PCs have an option so that if you are stuck on some goofy ISP that only lets you have HTTP traffic over a proxy, you can still get online.

Well, I am looking for an IM program that gives me that same option on my pocket PC. I would like something that lets me get on both AIM and ICQ and MSN but I would live with just one at this point. The key is that I can use a port 8080 HTTP proxy.

have you tried a different messenging program? I dont recall which but either agile or IM+ seems to get through those weird anti-aim things. At school, I used to be able to change the port my AIM uses from something like 5190 to 5192 and connect, now it just doesnt even connect.

Right now im going over tmobile's network which blocks all sorts of stuff. Im pretty sure I have to use a proxy.

Have you tried Agile Messenger? I'm not sure if it does what you want but you should check it out anyway :)
