The new feture today is "Today Screen refresh"

Using this new command forces the system to unlocd and then re-load all today plugin DLLs and redraws the whole today screen

Try it and let us know

not just that, those new features will be offered in this forum at least 2 days before anywhere else :)

And best of all, we'll add those features for free (current HandyMenu customers can upgrade to the newer versions for free)

We are going to add one single feature every 2-3 days :)

The attached file is a demo but if you have the full version of HandyMenu installed before installing this, this copy will become full version as well.

The feature that's going to be added today is :
- Flip screen (180 degree screen rotation)

(Please note, The VGA icons have been removed from those version to make the setup program size comply with this forums restrictions, the VGA icons will be added to the final version)

Edit: Please find the latest version later in this thread
When do you think all the new features will be implemented. I'm waiting until them to update my version. Thanks.

Hello Xdalaw,
Sorry for the late response (It's a long weekend here in Ontario, Canada).
We have two more major features in HandyMenu which we're sure many will like. We hope to release those two new features before the end of the month.

IPHelper. Interesting new feature. I'm not exactly sure what to do with it but it does seem to be working. I tried while connected through activesync and wireless. :)

My VGA version of handymenu renders QVGA icons (see attached). How do I get the VGA icons? When I first installed handymenu they were VGA. I just installed the latest version (2.9) and still, QVGA.

Hi Buzzard808,
The version that you can download here from the forums doesn't have the VGA icons (It's makes the uploaded file bigger than the size restrictions here at the forums).
The final released will have the VGA icons, you just need to wait for the final release (we're aiming at the end of the month).

I asked earlier but I think you missed it. I tried to add images for some of the new features but they don't seem to work. Is this a limitation that will be corrected with the final release?

Sorry for missing that Blazingwolf,
How did you add them ?
If you put a HandyMenu.bmp file in the same directory that has HandyMenu installed in it, HandyMenu will use this bitmap for icons instead of the built in ones.

I added it to the Handymenu.bmp you put out for VGA devices. Just cut and paste of existing icons. The last one doesn't show up though. I did rename the file to Handymenu.bmp.
