My college has implemented SSL across campus. To get to the Internet, you have to visit a secure web page, log in to a firewall, and are then allowed network access. (They have not implented wireless security, opting instead for the firewall approach.)

Trying to access that web page gets an "Error: SSL handshake" message from Netfront. However, SSL was implemented by M$ in an encryption Pack in Windows Mobile 2003SE. To get around the problem, I first have to visit the web page in PIE, log in, then close PIE and launch Netfront to browse.

This is obviously a PITA. Does anyone know how to get Netfront to work in this situation? I've posted on their support forums and have gotten no response. Thanks in advance...

Have you enabled security in Netfront?

in your place, i would be happy that it works at all.. SSL/VPN is a PITA when it comes to mobile devices in general!

That's one of the first things I checked. All options are enabled.
