BetaPlayer installer

Is there a way to install BetaPlayer instead of just plopping the files in there? Because in my file explorer it recognizes files that I can view or use using BetaPlayer as a file that doesn't have a program available to run it properly. Does that make sense to you guys? Did I put BetaPlayer on my X30 wrong? The way I understood it, was that I was supposed to open the zip file it comes in and extract the ARM version to my Axim. Ugh, any help? Thanks for looking.

well I'm not totally clear on the question, but I installed it through activesync, so I guess it wasn't through ARM? It works fine for me like that, there's an icon for it under Programs and everything

There is an activesync installer on the website. It is the .exe file and it works like anyother. just choose the location (Main, BIS, or Card) and it will install to the location and put a icon in your start menu.

I understood the problem is with data files, like mpg or avi, that doesn't open automatically in BetaPlayer.

What you want to do is open the Beta Player, and go to Options / Settings / Select Page / File Associations.

Here you can adjust which types of files you will open automatically with BetaPlayer.
