Yes, you can back up everything you've mentioned using Sprite Backup . . .

Moved to utilities.

Saadku, please post to the correct forum. Having an x50 doesn't mean the x50 forum is always the appropriate place for your post. Thanks.

naughty boy.

I would like to give a mention to Sunnysofts Backup which does the complete job for me everytime (ram, registry, drivers the lot).. I haven't tried Sprite so I dunno which one is better: I suspect Sprite is more versatile; but Sunnysoft's is cheaper.

Sprite not only backs up all that, but will back it up to your network or desktop computer--even from your desktop if you're plugged in! Its scheduling is also extremely flexible.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't backup ROM - even with the mighty Sprite! If I'm wrong, please let me know

By ROM, I figured that he meant BIS. For the actual OS in ROM, any firmware upgrade version will offer to backup the old firmware as a separate function from the actual upgrade.

I know you can do it from your desktop, but can you backup BIS to SD card on the Pocket PC itself? I haven't figured out how to do this.

You have to tick the "Persistent Storage" checkbox in the backup exclusions oiptions in the Pocket PC Sprite client. Then, add Storage Card to the "Do Not Backup" list. Then, it will back up BIS, but not SD.

What I find neat about sprite backup is it doesnt seem like it backups everything but its so efficient when you have to restore everything and it just brings the ppc back to life ^_^. And giving me the option to uncheck certian things like just restore registry or pim is nice so I dont end up loosing files or duplicate files.
