I think you can backup BIS but not the Rom itself

Yes, this is what I was thinking, but this individual claims sprite backs up the rom...

Maybe he got confused about the difference between ROM and BIS. Or the ability to restore accross diferent versions of the Rom

The only way to 'Backup' the ROM as far as I know is when you upgrade to the next one
