Need two spaces on Today screen

I'm currently using ScaryBears Spacer Today plugin but am wondering if there is a way to have two spaces on your Today screen. With the theme I'm using I've put Spacer at the top of my today screen but would like it also in another place on my Today screen. Is there another program that does what Spacer does?

Since you aren't using tabs in SPB you can pretty much acomplish what you want just by dragging the icons in Pocket plus down to the bottom of the screen. The only thing will be that you will have the icon still in the upper left corner which you can't move but by going into settings you can remove it and basicly add it by going into add icons and go to category:System and selecting the Spb Pocket Plus Options icon. You will then be able to move the icon to where you want it to go. This should give you exactly what you want. Note that PP automatically resizes the area it uses depending on where you place the icons.

You can just duplicate Spacer by editing the registry. All of your Today screen plugins are located @ \HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Today\Items. To duplicate a plug-in, create a new key and then copy all the values under the original to the new key. Finally, edit the Order value to properly place the plug-in where you want it to appear on the Today screen.

Does the registry method create any conflicts? I would think they would try to access the same settings so you couldn't have the two plugins a different size and would there be conflicts with both identical plugins accessing the same dll file? I've done quite a bit of registry editing but I have never tried this.

To be honest I have only played around a little bit with this trick, but I have never experienced any conflicts. You are correct, both instances of the Spacer plug-in will be sized the same, though I beleive this is because the size is not retained in the registry.
