A Simple Today Plugin

I have done numerous searches of Handango ad Aximsite looking for a very simple program and am having trouble finding something that fits the bill. Basically I want a Today screen plugin that allows me to change my back light brightness and view memory status.

Currently, I use SPB Pocket Plus. I love the program and have no intention of unloading it. The problem I am running into is I have to keep all these indicators under their own tab. I would like these type of indicators to be on the main screen right above my tabes.

I tried Battery Bar but it was not able to control the backlight on my Axim. I looked into a handful of other products that I found in these forums during my searches including Wizbar and Pocket Panel but they are a little more robust than I am looking for and seem to cause problems with my other running programs.

Does anyone have any idea what I am looking for? I’d love to be pointed in the right direction. My plugins include SPB Diary, Weather, and Pocket Plus. I use Memaid to keep my memory cleaned and Pocket Mechanic to manage my SD cards.

Why are all the brightness programs particular to the IPAQ? I think I'll just stick with having a special tab for the indicators in my Pocket Plus. I've managed this long.

I do appreciate your help. That first program looked perfect until it said IPAQ. Maybe in a few months they will perfect it. It would be nice to change the brightness easily from within an program.

i just use the switcher bar (preinstalled) to change my brightness settings...as for memory status, i recommend BatMemTime (see MyPDA for a URL). you can set it up to display battery status, Main Memory status, BIS status, and/or storage card status...

Why do you have to keep all the indicators on their own tabs? I have SBP and have all the ones you talked about on the main tab and they always are shown on the today screen.

Isn't there a thing in Pocket Plus to let you change the brightness from the Today screen? I coulda sworn I saw one. I'll check now...

EDIT: Just checked, and there IS an item in Pocket Plus that allows you to adjust the backlight level from the Today screen.

Yes pocket plus has the controls that I amspeaking of bu they have to b in a tab. I have them in a tab called Ind. They start out in Main but I don't have the room for them there and I am not always on the main tab. I am sometimes on my school tab or my games tab or my media tab or my connections tab. I would like them to sit right above the tabs. I guess I am just being totally picky. I will stop stressing about this and let it be.

i use the today plugin from the sprite backup premium package and it shows all that and has a shortcut for the brightness as well

I did it. It looks exactly like what I was looing for and I didn't have to add anythinge else to my Axim. Thanks for helping me see the tree through the forest!
