launcher

Hi there. I am new to the pocketpc world so I am going to ask probably a stupid question.

I want to have a system of "folders" which I can group my applications in. On my palm I used megalaucher, so I was looking for something similar...

in other words...that I would have a place for games, medicine apps, utilities etc etc

Can someone point this lost puppy in some direction?

thanks

VGA launcher possibilities

Hi there all,

I am looking for a system where I can put a more windows like format in such that I have files (e.g medical apps, games, etc...)in easy reach of the Today screen. I would love true tabs and not have to play with the Home or whatever.

And VGA aware.

Anyone out there have any ideas?

Thanks

make sure you install spb plus in normal VGA mode first if you are running "true VGA" mode, otherwise, your device might lock up
And check out Battery Pack Pro too

The launcher that I use is cLaunch which is free. I like it because it lets me put programs in startup folders with names. I like to see the program name instead of just the icon. Others have said that the icons are not vga quality, but for my needs it works great.

I agree with coflyer, cLaunch is great. You can make icons that look the same as any windows icon on your desktop. For vga stick the device into tru vga mode and increas the icon size by double or so and it looks just fine. My settings are: Icon size = 32, name width = 66 (allowing for 7 icons on 1 line), name height = 26 (allowing for 2 rows for an icon name). If you enable the icon name and icon name on bottom it looks like a icon on a desktop, I also made the height of cLaunch to be 22 allowing for 2 rows of icons. Only problem I found with this program is it looks _horrible_ in the qvga mode but in true vga (which is all i use) it looks perfect, nice vga icons. Hope this helps!
