Results from "Where Is My Ram?" Utility

I have installed several apps & utilities regarded highly by members of this site.

I have installed Where's My Ram? and love it. Thanks everyone

My question is that now everything is broken down for me, what levels in the various places should cause me concern. I keep a close eye on memory and always have more available than used, but, I would like to know some general guidelines for WMR? numbers.

My numbers read:
CF Card: 38683.3K; BIS: 4707.6K; Windows: 3150.9K; Program Files: 2293.6K; My Documents: 543.8K; Launcher: 0.6K; ConnMgr: 0.2K; Application Data: 0.0K; profiles: 0.0K; Temp: 0.0K

I keep almost all programs on my CF Card allowing me to keep most everything clear.

Thanks for any thoughts,
Jean

Forgot to add another question about Icbar and Launcher programs. I installed both and love these as well. However, I had to perform a soft re-set while I was setting up the Launcher program. After the soft re-set I found that Launcher was gone and Icbar was only half way set up so I had to re-do a decent amount of work.

I had yet to back up anything, but, will I have to re-configure Icebar and Launcher everytime I perform a soft reset? Or now that I have backed up everything, I will just have to restore the settings?

Any thoughts on this as well as the above post on Where's My Ram? would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again to everyone....this place is soooo very helpful,

Jean

I dont think there is much left you can optimise. Your program files probably doesnt have anything you can move to the storage right? And the windows directory is small. However, if you wish to make the windoze dir a bit smaller you do have the option of getting something like MemMaid which can move some of the DLLs in windows to the built in storage.

awdark,
Thanks for the info. I'll look into MemMaid...I've seen it mentioned frequently in the site. You're right, my RAM Program Files are at their bare bones. Almost all program files are on CF card.
Thanks again,
Jean
