Yes, I hate that drawback. I mean, a good deal of email sent these days is in html format.

Qmail Newsreader for online classes

Hello. aximsite newb here. I just downloaded and set up Qmail, and while it was a little challenging working with the funky instruction translation, AximMom's comments helped, and I got my newsgroups for school (Western Int'l University) up and running. (Thanks Hezahonker!)

Qmail seems to be a pretty decent app -- espectially considering the 'price'!

Thanks, everyone, for this thread, and for all the great tips!

qmail IMAP

hi

does qmail support multiple IMAP folders (the way inbox doesn't..)?

and how do i make a shortcut - i've copied the exe and dlls to program files, and made a mailstore on my sd card - so far so good - but it'd be nice to have access to the app off the start menu not just from file manager..

thanks in anticipation..

Hi there,
I use PDA for my corporate account and got dozens of emails each day.
does anyone can tell me if there is a chance to force Qmail to :
- download the emails from last x days
- download only xkb of the email
- only header ?
I use nPOP and I enjoy its simplicity but Qmail looks much
nicer and I'd like to switch to it.

there is! see the menu > tools > options, then go to the sync filters tab and study the pre-installed filters (there is a header only filter as an example). you can set up your own simple filters (e.g. to download only x text lines of message over pop3). i haven't seen any detailed readme's on the syntax of qmail filters -- post links if you come by any.

You might want to check out the tutorial link in the QMail listing under Network Utilities in the freeware sticky at the top of this forum.

Anyone have any idea how to configure the spam filter?
