Do I need Sprite Backup??? General questions about backing up...
Hello guys,
Just got my X30 mid and am loving it so far! I am a bit confused on the whole process of backing up my data, however.
I'm wondering if I should get Sprite Backup? What is the difference between it and the backup program that comes on the X30, coupled with synching regularly to Outlook on my PC? Are there things that simply won't restore without using Sprite? Is it complicated to use? I want to keep it as simple as possible. Any advice on Sprite or backups in general would be appreciated! Thank you!

Actually, you can get a trial.....you basically just have to click as though you were buying it...the option will come right at the end. I think they've hidden it to avoid people using it for emergencies and such. But.....
You don't need to! Buy it, it is worth it! I am so happy I bought this program!!!

Sprite was one of the best programs I have ever purchased. I wish I hadn't waitied so long to do it in the first place. I went through two hard rests (both unintentional) before I bought it. Bother were a disaster because although I backed up, I didn't have a recent enough copy. One of the hard resets was caused by a battery dying. Sprite would have backed up automatically as the battery lost power. In both situations I would have had a back up from that morning to revert to. I had to reinstall all my programs again even if I did have my data saved using AS.
Sprite backs me up daily. I back myself up before doing any type of install. Heck, I had a problem with a new accesory and I was able to purposely hard reset my Axim to see if I was having some sort of software conflict. This confidence was great! I knew that I would be back up and running in 10 minutes. In fact, I did this 20 mnutes before leaving work on a Friday. Normally, a hard reset at a time like that would have ruined my weekend.
