Question Battery Pack Pro vs. SPB Pocket Plus2

I was wondering if anyone has an opinion regarding the Battery pack pro utility vs. the SPB Pocket Plus2 software. I just starting playing around with my X50v and would like a good utility program that will cover all the bases. Some of the features overlap, but i'd like to hear from others regarding the pros and cons of each. thanks.

I have only very little experience with these programs, but:

Thet are both very similar but to this point anyway, SPB has been a much more reputable company.

OmegaOne promised their buyers free updates for life.
Then they took the existing Battery Pack program, added one new feature, called it Battery Pack Pro 1.x and charged for the upgrade.
It still doesn't work reliably with WM2003SE (go see their own forum for some horror stories) and they've already announced that when they finally do get it working (Battery Pack Pro 2.x presumably) they will be charging again for the upgrade.

I tried both, battery pack pro just was a mess on my x50v, lock ups and the like. I stayed with PocketPlus2 and I'm way happy with it.

Yep, no doubt about it from my point of view either.
SPB is head and shoulders better than BPP
Enjoy!! :)

Has anyone tried the new Battery Pack Pro 2? Does it solve any of the lock-up issues?

I tried it today.
I wasn't impressed and it conflicted with WA2.
The backlight slider does not work with the X50v.
:thumbsdow

I think spb is alot better and alot more reliable. Battery pack has alot of problems with it. It can constantly cause the machine to slow down. And spb plus also looks alot better than battery pack.
