I don't think that the Japanese version suported VGA either....I might get the upgrade abyway to see if the browser is even more compatible than before.

Well I use Netfront 3.1 with VGA Brute force and it work perfectly. Only the text in address bar is over sized. Pages show perfectly. This is my main browser.
3.2 definitely has the same problems with VGA as 3.1... unless you surf in 640x480 mode.

So far I can confirm that scrolling on 3.2 is all screwed up. I used to be able to scrol with the Dpad but now it just jumps from link to link no matter the settings.

Does anyone remember the link to "hack" NetFront 3.1 to at least get the configurations readable? Something about moving some file(s) around and renaming something. I'm hoping that it works in version 3.2. That really just BITES that they haven't gotten VGA working yet.

Tancerman, thanks for the link. Oh oh, this no longer works on version 3.2 since it seems to have a very different structure. There is only one DLL file as opposed to two. Doing a renaming of one file as another can't be done. Darn, darn, darn.
Well, anyone see a new method to make it work as VGA brute forced?

i already have the NetFront 3.2 upgrade - and YES - it was a poor decision to upgrade... it does not support VGA at all... and the fonts (much needed for Japanese characters) are SO LOUSY...
what a FAR cry before - in a QVGA, NF 3.1 outshone PIE! but now? NF 3.2 pales in comparison to the beauty of PIE's display (in SE VGA mode)
anyway, ill just hand it over to my wife who still has a WM2003 QVGA PPC for her to use...
to those who have a VGA - it would be BEST to wait

I jumped the gun on the upgrade too... Been using 3.1 for quite a while and figured that 3.2 would really be an upgrade... I shouldn't have spent the $15. I really see no improvements over 3.1 and 3.2 seems slower to me...
