How do I stop animated windows?

How do I stop all the programs windows from being animated when opening and closing? It's really annoying me!
This began after I installed and then removed Battery Pack Pro. Maybe it added something to the registry?

Yes, that square effect thing!
Are you serious?! Registry is the only way to get rid of this annoyance? Why couldn't they just add a simple option somewhere??
So how do I do it exactly and which regedit do I use in Pocket PC?

Never mind the registry edit. Go get yourself app like Tweaks2k. It offers alot more registry setting changes and is well worth the investment.

Could someone please just tell me how to remove this square animation effect manually, without installing more third-party software!?
I don't have anymore free space left..

dood, windows mobile doesn't come with a built-in registry editor, so you've gotta install one. PHM tools (www.phm.lu) comes with a registry editor, I think... so make some room on your device and install it.

As for the registry edit, I have no idea. Search these forums.

I have no idea what registry key to edit. Please do not cross post. All new posts show up on the home page, so there is no need to post more than once.

Sometimes there's a little over analyzation here but we do appreciate you all's registry knowledge. Fortunately for you, its a setting in Battery Pack Pro. If you look in "Power Adjust" there is an item called "Animated window creation." Uncheck that and you should be fine.
