Anychance you could expand on that a little? I'm now trying to setup a new axim, and I've looked at both of these (but not downloaded) and they look very similar.

Thx,
Aaron

WA gives you:
A task manager for actually "closing" apps rather than just minimizing them.
A cacading Start Menu similar to Windows 9x/ME/XP.
A modified Title Bar that can display battery/memory status while in any other app as well as configurable Time/Date options.
The ability to skin pretty much the entire operating system.

Pocket Plus gives you:
A task manager for actually "closing" apps rather than just minimizing them.
A Today Screen app launcher.
A Today Screen monitor for battery/memory/storage space.
A modified Title Bar that can display battery status while in any other app.
A few Internet Explorer improvements like opening multiple pages and easier file downloading.

This list is certainly not all inclusive -- those are just off the top of my head.

Now they sound even MORE similar!

I guess the best thing to do is to download the demo and see for myself. There are just so many options out there - it seems daunting at times.

Thanks for the reply,
Aaron

They both have an option to terminate/close a running app instead of "smart minimizing" it. The option must be disabled in one of the two in order to avoid conflicts. But this is where the similarities end. Think of WisBar as the PPC equivalent of the desktop Windoze task bar. Pocket Plus OTOH lets you arrange program icons in tabs on the today screen - a replacement for the Start menu only much more powerful and user friendly. Pocket Plus has no task management features except the Close option. WisBar augments Pocket Plus in that regard. Go to the product web sites and look at the descriptions and screen shots.

Thanks for the reply,

On the theory that a picture is worth a thousand words attached is a screenshot showing wisbar skinning the top and bottom bars and PocketPlus running in a custom tab in PocketBreeze. In PocketPlus you can see some of the meters along with shortcuts (with custom images assigned) for programs. Above the skinned bar is PocketPlus's battery meter. Hope this helps.
