Any tweaks for these?

Please advise for X50v:

1. To button scroll webpages on Pocket IE page by page instead of jumping from 1 hyperlink to another first?

2. To switch from Normal VGA to True VGA mode without doing soft reset, any ways?

Thanks.

For #1: I am trying out MultiIE... it lets you remap the hardware buttons (except d-pad) so you could map a couple to page up/ page down...

Well MultiIE and PIEPlus are programs that will take care of #1 along with some other cool PIE enhancments.

I don't have a clue about #2.

Reason I ask is because some applications are better viewed or works better in True VGA and some in Normal VGA mode. It is very cumbersome to keep soft resetting to do this. Previously too on PPC we need to soft reset to do landscape using NYDITOT but nowadays we can just press a button and it switches over.

#1 There could be a registry tweak to do this.

The only way to get to true vga is with ozvga or se_vga. Both require a reset. The switching to landscape is built into the os in 2003SE. It would be real nice if that was built into WM5....
