Socket Wifi Companion

Hey,

Do you guys know, if I should get this utility for my Wi-Fi?

It's suppose to be a

Intuitive, graphical software that greatly improves the user’s experience detecting Wi-Fi hotspots, and more. Helps set up and monitor a connection, performs basic site management functions, views access points and determines the strength of a wireless connection. www.socketcom.com

Has anyone of you tried it?

Tried it, love it, but decided to use Hitchhiker instead. Don't get me wrong, Socket Wi-Fi Companion, as its name implies, it's really your best Wifi companion. If you use Wifi very often, by all means, just buy it. My reason for not buying it was that I rarely using Wifi, so the ROI (Return of Investment) will not be that good for me.

I've had it on my Axim for a few weeks. I really like it, but I've decided not to keep it. Its handy, but doesn't do much more than Dell's free utility. I can't justify the $.

Socketcom's service, software and product have been very satisfying to me. However, that software makes it easier but not doing more that Dell's free untility.
