I accidently posted ths in the MAc forum before sorry to inconvenience anyone...

Sorry to repeat a thread that hes been discussed several times. I have searched and tried to use previous discussions but to no avail.

My situation is this: I have a HP Laserjet 4V (Black and White Laserjet we keep in the basement). My dad inherited it from work and it was set up on his computer as a network computer. So now it is plugged directly into the Wireless hub with an ethernet cable and he uses it that way. He also installed it on my computer and Now I can print on it Wirelessly.

Now I have decided to set it up on my axim and here comes the problem.

I installed HP Mobile Printing and started to configure the printer.

Mfg: Hewlett-Packard
Model: LaserJet Monochrome Series
Address: ?
My Printer's name: HP Laserjet 4V ?

When I set up the printer on my desktop the test page providd Printer Name (Which I used)

Driver
Hardware address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Sharing: Not Shared

Print Mode: Windows TCP/IP
IP Address: xxx.xxx.xx.xxx
Subnet Mask: xxx.xxx.x.x
Gateway: xxx.xxx.xx.xxx

I used all three numbers as the address and nothing worked. I know I need to share it somehow so I tried to set up a network between my cimputer and the PPC, I dont want to interfere with any other computer in the house. I use Windows XP and I have Windows Pocket PC Version 4.20.0.

Getting this to work would be immensly gratifying and all help would be a godsend.
