I want it to save not open the file

I feel like a n00b.
Does anyone know why the Internet Browsers all OPEN the cab files? Open the WmV files? But try to save a .swf... -_-

Netfront 3.1
Netfront 3.2
PIE all suffers from the issue. Actually Netfront handles SWFs well, I just disabled it because it was too troublesome to leave adds playing on my browser while I try to visit websites

maybe its all registry?

Yes, this is a problem; also on Thunderhawk and in every PIE plug-in.

I've started writing an external app to fix the problem. Will let you know when its ready.

For CAB files, I know it's possible to access them through the Temp files folder (after having opened them in PIE) but I have personally not been successful.

In terms of external apps, I have tried http://www.adisasta.com/WinMobileDA.html which amusingly sometimes worked with netfront also, so I figure it was an app that operated at a lower level. But it didnt find the cabs either.

Hrmm the Vito Downloader works okay with PIE to save target as. But it really sucks that its not VGA compatable.

Oh so there isnt a more fun way of doing it... I was hoping for some super Netfront3 plugin that integrated mobiledownloader together so you get the context menu and... lol your recent articles have been quite informative and useful so I thought ^_^ super hack!
