anyway, as of now, i have uninstalled Spb Finance, and have installed the 25-day demo of CashOrganizer

as i would say - more functionality, faster sync, and have that "number of days" filter (i use 26 weeks back)...

as one would say PERFECT!!!

and it works with the Japanese version of M$ Money 2004 Deluxe...

where did i go wrong with Spb Finance? why did i ever had to choose it? and now, i have to shell out about US$40 (US$9.00 was already spent on the Spb Finance upgrade)...

*sigh*

-- edit --

however, i think their Today plugin needs some to be desired with, though...

Yeah, the today plugin is a bit weak, but the rest of the program is second to none.

I do think SPB Pocket Plus is great (though a bit of a memory hog), but SPB seems to be trying to get sales through creating integration with all their programs within P+, and not necessarily through creating a better product. I like SBSH's philosophy better, they created a custom tab (soon to be multiple custom tabs) which will allow you to add any today plugin to the tab, not just their own software. I am sure they could have set it up so it would only accept their own programs, but they chose to let their customers make the choice of software.

I also installed CO, but ActiveSync just hung while trying to sync with the PDA, after 10 minutes of waiting, I soft reset and uninstalled CO. Too bad, I anted to give it a try.

Well, I tried this fix and it worked very well. Much easier than deleting and reinstalling.

Unfortunately, duplicate transactions continue to appear regularly. (I'm having to "fix" the accounts at least once a week.) It's gotten to the point where I can't trust the account balances reported by the software--which makes it pretty much worthless.

Add to that the fact that I submitted a help request to SBP, via their web site, and got NO response beyond the automated "we received your request and will respond shortly" message, and, well... I'm now looking for another solution (Pocket Quicken or Cash Organizer maybe).

same here...

what could is a money program when you find that you are only worth US$1,000 when you have US$10,000, or are worth US$10,000 when you have only US$1,000...

well, im exaggerating the figures here - but you get my point...
