does this need to be installed on the main directory cause when I install it on the CF card it does't work

It has to be in Main Memory in order to get it activated.
This lets your read purchased books.

After you install it follow the steps here to save your activation files

Then you can uninstall it -- reinstall it into your Built-in Storage -- and copy back your activation files.
