I got that pocket weather free version for like 6 months. love it...but the last 3 days....it ain't updating the next 5 days weather. anyone here know what is going on?

mine did the same. i went to the forums at sbsh.net and found an upgraded beta version here: http://www.sbsh.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=4633 and everything works fine.

is the beta version free? cuz i dont want to get the beta version if you need to purchase it since i got the free version.

You might also check their forums. Sometimes there is a link/download problem. I had the same problem several months ago and their connection to the weather service was disrupted for 3-4 days.

UPDATE....my pocketweather is working again as of 9:30 PM EST today.

I bought the program a while ago -- $8 guys -- not a killer for a software group that is pretty dedicated to development and improvement of their product. I experienced the same problem and checked the forums today. I ended up downloading the beta because they do have free upgrades.

What I also found is that if you had identified a location by zip code, then it didn't update properly. If you identified the location by country, state, and city, then it worked properly. Since I was on my way out of the office, I grabbed the update, and changed my settings. Worked perfectly.

The only problem was the Today screen display. The forecast was okay regardless of the location method.

Well, mine is working fine now. Did not do a reinstall or anything. It just started working by itself.

Unfortunately we had a small issue with our old source for weather information that we were using with the older versions of PocketWeather. With the new beta version that is posted on our forums we've moved to a new weather source which is working without any problem :)

In addition, those who still use the older free beta version that uses the older weather source, this should be running again as it seems the issue was resolved, so as much as we know the old free version should be working again :)

I'm really sorry for any trouble old users might had with the older version.

Apart from this, now that we've finished with the new version of iLauncher and had a really nice launch we are getting ready to the release of PocketWeather 1.1 pretty soon (which of course will be free upgrade) and will bring really a LOT of changes with the new version. Out beta group members are still now sure why we are giving this as a free upgrade :)
