weather plugin for today screen

Another Axim newbie looking for input on the best weather plugin for the Today screen.

I left off Weather To Go because people have had problems uninstalling it. I also left off Journal Bar because people said it was slow and expensive.

Question: where do these programs get their weather data? Do they run their own server?

Pocket Weather for me. The display is simple and informative on the Today screen, and there is loads more data available with a simple click. You can configure weather / radar maps - up to 3 for each location, maintain multiple locations, and it is very skinnable, as with all SBSH products.

I use weather to go but never tried uninstalling it. Also, it only gives you a text readout of the weather for "today's" weather, so if you don't sync the next day then you only get a weather icon. But it's free and it works.

I love the marsware weatherpannel. I really like how i can customise the display and the ifo that is available is awesome. It also updates quickly via wifi or active sync. I would like the addition of animated weather maps on this app. Then it would be perfect.

Try the latest beta, it is quite stable and has tons of new features, including support of animated radar, using either actual animated radar images or by displaying your cached images in series.

Weatherpanel. Looks fantastic and with plenty of detail

Pocket Weather is great too. Not as pretty but has really excellent support.

For me it is Spb weather intergrated with pocket plus...it is clean, neat and can be tucked away... ILOVE IT!!

I like PocketWeather. They are apparently close to releasing a new update which will use a different weather service that is supposed to be more reliable.

The features and graphics of Marsware's WeatherPanel seriously blows every other product out there out of the water. This was the first piece of software I ever bought for my x50v and I am so extremely happy with what I got. If you end up getting the WeatherPanel, make sure you also download the Stardock Theme and Icons and use those.

Pocketweather got my vote. I wasn't looking for any weather software at all.. but it came with a big discount when i bought pocket breeze, and i haven't had any problems with it
